Description

The listing, Five Silk Caps & Detailed Instructions for Using has ended.

Five luxurious silk caps (expanded cocoons) and detailed instructions on who to separate the fibers for spinning...even how to properly prepare your hands. The instructions did not cone with the silk. I found far better instruction from another source and am including it. This spins amazingly delicate threads and yarns.
I combine shipping but need a few days to get to the post office to get an actual cost for you as I'm home schooling and prefer PayPal for shipping costs.

I haven't worked with silk yet. Any pointers? :) (also bidding on 2 other postings- mohair & angora- would like to combine shipping if I manage to bag them all:) )

The hang up with silk is in keeping your hands smooth. I am a nail biter and also single mommy to eight so with no handy MAN around the house I am into a lot of things that rough up my hands. That has been a continued frustration for me in working with silk and so I have decided to only work with silk blends. Up to 30% doesn't present a problem for my especially rough hands. That is something that is addressed in the instructions I am sending...tips for smoothing rough hands and rough spots on basically smooth hands.
Yes, I combine shipping. I don't wish to profit on shipping like I've found so many doing on eBay. If you don't mind the time it will take me to get an actual shipping & supplies cost I can take the package to the post office and get the cost and and let you know. It will definitely take me a few days to get the shipping cost because I am homeschooling my youngest four boys. My preferred method of receiving payment for shipping is PayPal.

For silk try corn huskers lotion. Helps my rough hands a great deal :) You can get it at most big stores/pharmacies
