It will probably be O.K. but ....Here is how you determine the size you need for your dog.

Take a soft tape measure - like the ones women use to take measurements and measure the widest part of the chest on your dog . This will give you the
appropriate size to buy..

this is my sparkles, she was my 'foster failure' from underdogs rescue in ft walton beach fl, i foster dogs for htem and i couldnt give this cutie up she was also so attuned to my needs i am disabled that she has since become my service dog. a whole new life for her as she was from a uppy mill that was closed due to abuse and neglcect. she came to me cowering and nmow is my serfcie dog. impressive little thtings isnt she. thanks for asking
