Description

The listing, Daffodil Yellow-Chocolate Brown Color Block Handmade Ring Pillow has ended.

This pillow uses a lovely shade of daffodil yellow and a rich shade of chocolate brown to create a sumptuous ring pillow made of heavyweight bridal satin.

Nestled in the tufted center is a beautiful lightly textured yellow rose with a single rinestone raindrop that adorns one of the petals. The rose serves as a ring tie holder for the chocolate brown and daffodil yellow satin ring ties.

The ring pillow measures 8 x 8 inches. Perfect for your wedding and as a decorator accessory after the wedding!

I'm glad you like it.It's the last one from a series of color block ring pillows and matching garters from 2010. I'm still destashing the studio and I have lots of new styles either in my etsy shop or on the drawing board for spring, 2012. Check us out!

we are on face book but www.shabeestitches.etsy.com would be a far better place to look. Yes I am auctioning other items but just so you know,it's been pretty sporadic right now. I'm nearing the end of bridal season,2011 so I'll have more to go-I've auctioned quite a few things already this summer. They were mostly theatre costumes I had stashed away from my years working for theatre companies. but some bides items as well. Check a look at etsy and if you have ideas of your own, let me know-we do custom work.

Thank-you very much-you did wonders for my ego today, lol! I've never set foot in David's, so I have to take your word for it. My experience with other bridal shops has been that they tend to offer things that are factory made and usually white and poofy. I personally hate white and poofy. It's so boring!

As for choosing colors-you can choose colors you like or colors that have a meaning to you or your fiance such school colors or military colors, for example. Another option is to pick up a copy of Brides or Martha Stewart Weddings or The Knot and see what colors they are showing. Also, consider the time of year your getting married-you might want the traditional colors of fall or spring. Or, lol, be like many of my customers-personalize them around what both of your interests are- Goth, steampunk,a movie that means a lot-recently I did a wedding based in Moulin Rouge because that was the film they saw on their first date. So we used reds, golds and black. I did a whole ocean creatures and water blue wedding last year because they were both surfing instructors and oceanographers. I also did a wedding revolving around a rose pink shabby chic theme-a Victorian bride complete with costumes in pale green and antique white-a fabulous 50's in black and pink, a funky modern wedding in purple, lilac and lime green.....hope I gave you a place to start.
