Description

The listing, Tabletop Gamers! Hirst Arts Mold #203 has ended.

Tabletop gamers! Stop paying outrageous prices for a small number of Dwarven Forge pieces when you can have all the terrain you want for pennies!

Great for players of Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, or any other grid-based tabletop roleplaying or miniature games!

Up for bid is a Hirst Arts CastleMolds #203: Cracked Floor Tiles. Produces tiles that are 1" (one inch) square, with half inch, 3/4 inch and quarter inch spacers.

Mold is used (using various plasters) but in excellent condition - Bruce Hirst uses the best silicon rubber for his molds, so they retain their detail after repeated use for years. This mold has seen at least a hundred casting and still produces tiles identical to the first ones.

For more information, see http://www.hirstarts.com/

Item will be shipped USPS Flat Rate with Delivery Confirmation. The mold will have a coating of baby powder on it: this is a protective measure to prevent it from sticking to surfaces.

For this mold and the Cavern Floor Mold #281 in my other auction, the best use is to mount the cast tiles on 1/8" cork in various configurations to represent dungeon rooms in gaming. As an example:

http://www.hirstarts.com/cavern/descent.html

which shows molds #281 and #282 (both of which, coincidentally, I have up for auction) being used to create a board for the Descent game.

Ahh... various plasters, from Plaster of Paris to high compression strength dental stones and gypsum cements like Merlin's Magic or the Hydro-Stone series (http://www.hirstarts.com/casting/us.html).

In addition, with prep work, you can also use plastic resin (http://www.hirstarts.com/casting/plastic.html).
