Paddington bear starts off by creating a list of all the nice things I could think of about being a bear living with the Browns. As the list grows longer he remembers the garden that they have in the backyard he loves the garden and he loves gardening. He Sets about town to do some gardening in the backyard he buy supplies at the store for his garden and realizes it's harder work than he he thought it would be. But he ends up making a beautiful garden and wins a gold star.

Paddington bear and the Browns go to the the store to visit Santa Clause, go on a sleigh ride, and visit the workshop at the north pole.
