I used to smoke & always felt "dirty" there is no appeal( other than thinking I was so cool?? at 14) nothing but health problems for anyone. Sorry I ever smoked.

I hear ya! I have a 14 year old who thinks smoking is disgusting. Thank god it isn't 'cool' anymore like it was when we were growing up! I actually signed a contract with him last year (his idea! He saw it online) that I will give him $1,000 if he doesn't drink, smoke or do any drugs before he is 18. I can test him anytime. His stepmom loved it and she did it too. Then his grandmother and two aunts did as well. So he's got $5,000 coming to him if he doesn't try any nasty stuff until after high school! LoL and any of us can test him for it anytime. But if he DOES... he owes us each $500...

No problem! I -always- forget to put smoke free home on my listings and I never think about it when I win stuff until I open a package and want to gag! LoL one time I opened my mailbox on a hot day and the smell was overwhelming! I don't get the appeal...!

You know what, that's great if it works for him. Back then, you could not have used any amount of $ to keep me from all the things I was doing. And I definitely paid a price with asthma & now COPD among other things. It would not have mattered if you told me all that would happen when I was 14 as a result. I have twin sons, now 19! They hate cig smoke, etc I just told them how I was and how it affected so many areas of my life. But not all at once, over the years. No One really told me all the health risks but just to be oppositional I would have smoked anyway.
