Very beautiful tree, on my island they are everywhere and it's our official tree of the island. We know them by Flamboyant. Nice auction

It is! Unforunately, out /14 acre yard is too full of other beautiful plants to fit a tree of this size, luckily my neighbor is kind enough to let me harvest his seed-pods. His tree is HUGE!! Must be at least 30 ft tall with a canopy about the same diameter. I love it! Thought I'd share the beauty by listing these seeds. I take care of all his plants for him, as he is disabled, so the seeds are all organically fertilized (Mycorrhyzal Fungi Solute (MycoGrow found @ www.fungi.com, fish emulsion, certified organic fertilizer (can't recall brand name @ this hour), Black Kow & horse dung)/ I use no pesticides on any of my plant/seed auctions. I pluck off any lil pests I see & use neem oil, which isn't toxic in the slightest. In fact, it's just the oil from the neem plant that repels insects.

I wish we could have a tree like that in our back yard defiantly look different but the neighbors tree is taking up much of our space and it can't be taken down because of the electricity line
May 28th, 2015 at 10:34:56 PM PDT by
Original
You have the legal right to cut back your neighbors tree if it encroaches over onto your property line, especially if it is obstructing power lines ;)
They also can be pruned to not be as tall and have a wider canopy.

LMK if you're ever interested in getting a hold of some beautiful, super easy to grow annuals , zinnia's & cosomos I've found are the longest lasting, most variety in colors, good for arrangements & you can pretty much throw them on the dirt, remember to water every now & then & they do their thing - amazing how much joy I've found flowers bring into my life :)

I almost always send directions on how to sow my seeds & care for the seedlings/plants. Royal Poinciana's are one beautiful large tree that can be made into a bonsai, since their root system is superficial..;) Just a tibdit of info - thank you, though, Susan! :)

wut if i GIN ? wut xtra will winner get? n r all ur seeds from usa? where u get them from? thanx
May 26th, 2015 at 12:51:39 AM PDT by

Usually when I do a GIN, winner gets to pick a bonus seed pkt from my seed inventory list I email out right after they win. I didn't think about that when I made this "special" auction, but I'm very generous and have over 50 different species of seeds that all come from the US. They come from Bradenton, FL - hand harvested by me. A lot from my backyard, & some from my neighbors yards'. They're all local.

Yay! Thanks for getting the bid up there, maymariosa! If bidding reaches 1,000 after 12 pm EST today & I have not updated the 2 extra seed pkts it is because I am @ work, updates will be made either late tonight when I get home (hoping to do so, but may be too exhausted) or at the latest by early tomorrow morning, that is if all you watchers get together & bid! HAVE FUN & THANK YOU ALL! :)

Trying to encourage bidding! When bidding hits 1,000 credits I will start adding seed packets! Let's have some fun! Winner takes all & I've got a BUNCH of seeds, free shipping regardless!!
