Description

The listing, Motorola 2 Way Radios - Walkie Talkie has ended.

Giving away my BadA** 2 Way Radios. These are backups from my Business I used to run. I have 4 sets of these to communicate at different Photo Locations as they have a 35 mile range!!

I will copy and paste specific details in the comments but some neat features are Weather Alerts, Backlit display, LED Flashlite on the bottom which is great in the dark (We used this feature a lot!!), Emergency alerts.

These normally cost $60.00 just for the handset. I am including 2 radios plus a charging base and Belt Clips and 2 Rechargeable NimH Batteries! This retails over $200.00!!

You can use the built in battery and charge on the charging base or you can remove the recharge pack and place standard AA inside so these are very convenient. If your charge runs out, just throw in some AA's and you are good to go. The batteries in them go about 8 Hours on a full charge.

These are great at Job sites, Theme Parks and Carnivals with family. Car convoys (You can have one in your car and another in a friends on a trip. That way you can talk when out of cell phone range). Better yet, give these to your kids and they can play cops and robbers or a high tech Hide and go seek. The possibilities are endless.

As with all my auctions, Shipping is FREE!!!

Let me know if you have any questions and be sure to Fan me (I will fan you back) and check out my other cool auctions.

even all the rubber covers that hide the input jacks are still intact. usually people rip them off or they get torn. not these.

Do they actually go up to 35 miles, i know the cheap ones say they have a 2 mile range and they barely go a half a mile.

I am not sure of the exact range as I have not tested them on that feature. however, I had multiple photo crews at different locations all the time and the locations were usually 5-10 miles away from eachother and I never had any problems communicating with the different sites.

These are awesome, my hubby had the exact same set, but has since lost them. We used them for hunting and while he is in the combine harvesting. They did reach up to 15 miles with out set (that was the farthest we used them). Just so other bidders know, when they say 35 miles that is a straight shot with no trees, hills, power lines etc to interfere. But rest assured Motorola makes the BEST 2 way radios! Would you be willing to ship these to Canada? I would love to be able to replace my hubbies set that has been lost. Thanks in advance and good luck with your auction :)

Cool. Thanks for the information. I am sure that will be helpful to other bidders as well. I have no problem shipping to Canada but I will not do it for free. International shipping is a little more expensive. If you let me know what province and city you live in I will get the cost for you.

The distance is estimated by the output wattage of the transmitter, however, things like trees and buildings effect the signal strength, so it varies. One thing is for sure tho, from boat to boat, out on the water, they will do the rated distance.

cool thx for the info, I used these to about 5-10 miles without a direct line of sight. I am not sure about the 35 mile rating, that is what Motorola says though. I am glad there are people here that have used them and know better, like you.
