Dad used to call these Italian Prunes and we would sit together with a lug between us and munch on these till we dared to eat no more. Today is the same with me. I eat these small prunes and think of him and those companionable times that cannot be repeated now, and enjoy them in just the same way. Sometimes I think of all the times that I took everything for granted and thank God that He has provided me with such abundance in my older years. These plums are just like those pictured and the actual plants are pictured. They range in size from 1' to 4'. I will ship bare root and you may request what size you would prefer and if possible, I will ship that which is closest. Just remember that it is exact cost for shipping and the larger the box, or the heavier, the higher the cost. IF you check out my other auctions and get more of my plums, or roses, I will combine to save costs as long as you let me know. I hate to spend my money and hate to help you spend yours if I can help it. :) I have several of these so I will be offering more. I do not know if these are self pollinating because I have several. I do know that in reading up, it said that if plants are self pollinating, having two or more helps in setting a higher percentage of fruit. Hope that helps in your decision making.
