The listing, The Flood of 1972 Special Edition Paper PA Mirror State College has ended.

This is a review of the June Disaster, Souvenir Edition published by the Mirror of State College, PA. Central Pennsylvania was hit hard in 1972 by Hurricane Agnes. Small towns were totally isolated and ripped apart. Helicopters were bringing food into the locked off places. It was the worst disaster in the state up to this time. This souvenir issue has photos of the mess throughout the stricken areas. If you enjoy history, this is a neat pamphlet of a rough time for the Pennsylvanians living in the area.

I was a bit older - we actually didn't get how bad it was as teenagers but spent hours driving around trying to get out of our water locked town of Halifax. It definitely was devastating looking back at all the damage. Thanks for your interest!

The big blond was a sweetheart named Raspberry. He passed away. I still have the gray one - she was his mom..... Love cats!

I have 7 inside and two stray moms outside-between the two of them there are 8 kittens. 5 1/2 weeks old-we are socializing them and doing litter training so we can get them homes. Love my kitties too! =^..^=

You sound like my sister! She has about 8 at any given time! My husband barely tolerates mine so I try to stay content with the one! Enjoy the kittens! It will be hard to give them up!

I know! I have two favorites altho l love them all. I have brought some of them in to treat their eyes and l have three that love them, three that arent having any of it and one who doesnt care. So yea, its gonna be hard but we gotta do it, we dont have any more room (we live in a 14x70 trailer) and dont want have chaos in the house. If l had more room and more kitty tolerance, l would keep them. Money to care for them comes into play too. My BF and l are both disabled so we dont have a lot to spare. Love the furry kids anyhow.

I just went thru Lee in 2011 and lost almost everything including a litter of 4-4 week old kittens. We lived in an area that was never hit by Agnes
