Description

The listing, 20 Sugar Apple / Sweetsop Seeds - tropical fruit tree has ended.

Twenty (20) white flesh (Vietnam) sugar apple seeds.

Germinate in a baggy full of moist peat moss left in a warm area. Should sprout in 1-4 weeks and can bear fruit in 2-4 years.

The tree can grow up to 25 feet but can be kept much smaller in an indoor pot (bring inside when the temperature drops below 40F). Full sun, water when soil is dry.

The seeds are freshly removed from fruit(s). Winner can choose to have them pre-soaked in gibberellic acid (seeds and increases rate of germination) and packed in baggies with peat moss to start the germination process (this will delay shipping by 2 days), or can choose to have the seeds shipped dry in a paper envelope.

If the bids exceed 500 I will include a few surprise seeds for other tropical fruiting plant(s)!

Do you grow yours in a greenhouse or outside? Is this an evergreen type plant?

Mine are small still so they grow indoors. As far as I know they stay green year round, however they cannot handle frost and will loose their leaves if they get too cold. Green house, conservatory, or potted would be fine for them in cooler climates. They can go outside when it is warm.

Do you mean the seeds or the fruit? The seeds you can't eat, but the fruit, yeah, definitely! They are delicious. It's like dessert in a fruit. A bit hard to describe - kind of like a custard with a bit more substance and tang, but a pretty mild flavour (as in, no strong flavours that might be distasteful to some people) and the flesh near the outside of the fruit is like sugar. It's good, good stuff. I also have dragon fruit seeds right now but that's all I have for the moment. I will list others if/when I get them :)
