How big is the conch?

About 4inches long by 3inches wide

I believe these are hermit crab shells. Conch are much longer, wider and always always pink inside. I enjoy netting for hermit crabs for pets for tourists when I go to Hilton Head SC, 2 months a year and they surface in these shells, in all different sizes but always these type shells, they have grey hues in them.

Conch shells also turn outwards at the edges, and have ruffles on the inner part of the inside ridge...
