Please note the first three pics are from the website I bought this coin from just to show detail. All the other ones are the ones that I took.

This coin is plated in 24 KT Gold – 100 mils thick, polished to a proof finish! This coin is absolutely stunning!

On the front of this coin is written around the edges: “In Memory Of Those We Lost” And the Date on the bottom edge “September 11, 2001”. In the middle of the coin is the Statue Of Liberty, in the middle of the Twin Towers.

On the back is 3 firemen raising the American Flag at ground zero. Written underneath: “American Heroes” All in Shimmering, Polished, Proof like 24 KT gold plating.

Reeded Edges
Weight: 1 oz.
Polished to a proof like finish!

won a solid gold bar already from someone who thought their bullion bars were just gold plated. on some nice full silver bars and coins from people who thought their own stuff was just plated. You are kind o right. I got a good 17,500.for stuff I only paid lie 11,000 points for.

It wasn't anything negative. I was just giving an example that sometimes sellers can think their stuff is gold or silver plated cos that is what they were told when they got it and it turns out to be full gold or silver.
