Description

The listing, Pink and Gold, Vintage, Decorative Dish has ended.

This is a lovely little decorative dish. I got it at an antique store, so I would assume it's at least vintage, but I can't verify that or swear to it. It has a vintage look to it, at least.

I think it's pretty, but I bought it for a light pink room, and I am renovating to change the colors, so I don't need it any longer.

It's a nice, pale pink color with a gold colored design. I would assume the gold is just a gold colored paint (trying to be as forthright as I can here!). It is in good condition, but needs to be cleaned up. I wiped it down with an all-purpose wipe, but I am stuck in bed with a broken ankle, so that's about as far as I can go with it.

I think it can be used in a number of ways. There is a cutout on the top, so it could be hung on the wall. It could be used as a candy dish or even a soap dish. I used it to put jewelry in. For instance, if I came in from a long day and didn't feel like properly putting up all my jewelry, I would lay it all in this tray for safe keeping until the next day. It really has an elegant look to it, no matter how you choose to use it.

It measures approximately 8 inches x 9 inches, though it is difficult to measure exactly due to the shape of it, being sort of scalloped. The third picture I took with my hand in the pic, to give you a better idea of proportion.

I really hope it fetches a fair amount of points, as it is going to be costly to mail, and I really do think it is a nice item. I wouldn't be parting with it, if it was in colors that I was still using (I've vowed to stop hoarding things I'm no longer using!!! lol). I ship to Listia verified addresses only. I am stuck in bed, as mentioned, with a broken bone so my hubby is doing my shipping for me right now. He works 40 hours a week, so he may not get to the post office right away, but I promise we will get your item to the post office as soon as possible.

HAPPY BIDDING!

Very pretty. I think I would take a large plate (pink, gold, or cream) and put it on a sturdy flat surface, place a sturdy pretty, medium sized, drinking glass on top and attach with jewelry glue. Then place this plate on top and glue the top of the glass to this sweet plate!

Sounds lovely. I've made such things with other items before, it was always fun.
