The listing, Old Working Railroad Lock With Key has ended.
Up for auction is a vintage railroad lock that I found in the remains of an old barn...
It's a heavy, steel switch lock with brass rivets made by Slaymaker for the Pennsylvania Railroad PRR)...
It has the letters PPR on the the sliding dust cover, which still has very strong springs...
The lock comes with its key and opens and locks easily...
In great shape for its age, which I am guessing is from the early 1950's...if not before...The Pennsylvnia Railroad existed from 1846-1968...
Also, as a bonus, I'll send the winner an antique, unmarked medicine bottle that was found in the same old barn...It's dirty and needs a cleaning, but in very nice shape otherwise...
Thanks and please ask any questions before bidding on this collectible piece from days gone by...
