The characters with the green bases are for Spyro's Adventure but they are compatible with any game that came out afterwards (Giants, Trap Team and Swap Force). However, not all of the characters are backwards compatible, which means the red base characters (Giants) will not work on Spyro's Adventure and so on. This green base character is a perfect place to start since it works for all the games!! Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any other questions! Upon further inspection, this is Trigger Snappy and he is a Trap Team character. I am sending Elizabeth a message to let her know I was mistaken. Sorry for the misinformation! :(

I looked it up and Trigger Snappy does work on Spyros Adventure as sidekick for Trigger Happy! They all look alike! Sorry for all the comments!!

green base = Spyro's Adventure
orange base = Gaints
blue base = Swap Force
red base = Trap Team

Now this is Trigger Snappy.... However this is the Frito-Lay promo (green base) there is a Trigger Snappy from Trap Team but has a red base. Hope that helps to clarifies things
