The listing, LOOK: Lot #2 ~ YARN --10 skeins all one color~~~ has ended.

ATTENTION KNITTERS AND CROCHETERS!!!!

Lot of 10 skeins of beautiful chocolate brown yarn glints of lighter and darker colors, all of the same dye lot. Size 4--worsted weight yarn, 50 gram balls each with 145 yards. This yarn is 76% acrylic/24% wool and is washable with low-temperature/delicate setting on your dryer.

I am decreasing inventory in my craft room and have run across some lots of lovely quality yarn that I doubt if I will use. Therefore, my loss is your gain!!

I am sorry about the poor quality of my pictures! The true color of this does not show through. It is a very pretty dark chocolate sort of highlighted, soft, and will be very comfortable to wear.

If it gets to 500 credits, I will pay the shipping myself!!!! Sound like a deal?

Can you tell me what brand the yarn is? Thank you. I will be watching as you clean out your stash! Also, fanned you :)

The brand name is Filatura Lanarota, a yarn that my daughter recommended to me because of it's softness, coloring, and value!

I have box shelving that my husband custom made for me that covers a space 4 foot high by 8 foot long that is the yarn that my daughter and I use the most. I also have several large totes filled with both packages of yarn and multiples of single skeins that I bought at value prices "for a rainy day". Unfortunately, I need more space in my/our crafting room for my daughter's quilting machine! SO, I am drastically reducing my supplies in yarn, embordery supplies, craft books, and much other stuff!!!!

Is this suitable for afghans?
Sep 9th, 2011 at 11:39:07 AM PDT by
Original
Very suitable! Makes a very soft "non-scratchy" afghan. My grandchildren, ages 3 and 4, have outgrown the baby blankets that I made them, but they like "blankies" to use in the livingroom in the mornings when they first get up, or in the evenings when they watch a movie with their mom and dad! I made them some intermediate blankies, larger than baby blankets, but not twin size for them to use as throws. The yarn works up beautifully, holds it's shape well, and looks great!
