1853 large cent,has a hole in it but in vary good condition,a nice coin.

Ya got a nice one here Wayne! And the hole is probably about as old as the coin is; they used to string them together and tie them in their garments when travelling, kinda like an "anti-theft device" :-). Could you also include a photo of the reverse, please. Thanks. JAY

Definitely, on the hole, plus, it is clear that it wasn't made by a drill, it was punched through...always a nice touch for these old coins!
