what do disabled mean does it not work

Disabled means the iPod cannot be unlocked so you can't do anything on it it needs to be hooked up to iTunes so it can be unlocked then once it is unlocked the iPod is functionable and you can do things on it if I didn't explain it very well you can always look it up
