Description
The listing, 5 blue passion fruit flower seeds has ended.
It has taken 2 years but my blue passion fruit flower vine has finally given me fruit! They are the orange fruiting kind with yummy fruits, these are easy to grow, I grew mine from seeds from my aunts plant several years ago and the pictures above are from my now fruiting vine. This bid is for my very first set of seeds from this vine. This is the best vine I love it and you will to.
Questions & Comments
what zones are they tolerant of? I have been trying to win one of these all year and may have a chance but I do not remember if they are perennials to my zone or annuals. My luck you will say annuals zone for me LoL!
Hardiness Passion fruits grow in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 9b to 11, where they can handle temperatures as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit without any damage. In USDA zone 9b, where temperatures may plummet as low as 25 F, the vine may drop some foliage or die back down to the ground. The vine usually bounces back when temperatures rise in the spring. Passion fruit is happy in hot weather, only suffering from heat if temperatures regularly climb above 100 F.
well i am zone 3 on zone maps 5 on others and I saw a 6 and laughed...I live in temps in winter in the average 0 to -25F so it wouldn't make it sorry but thanks for answering me have an awesome auction~ Dovey
If I were physically able to lift a heavy pot of soil is not an option for me. I am unable to do the lifting it would involve but thanks so much. I would if I was able to carry something over 5 pounds well heck I struggle getting a glass of milk out of a gallon jug! I drop it at least twice a week or more. I thank you tho for trying to help me out. That means a lot! Hope your auctions are very profitable for you. Have a lovely evening and blessed be!
