a medium flat rate box will work for this ite and it is up to the seller to ship the item and get it to the bidder without any damage, if it is damaged it is on the seller per Listia rules. It does not matter if the seller damaged it or the postman damaged it it will still fall back on the seller, am medium flat rate box for 11.65 tht includes the delivery confirmation for tracking purposes, if the seller wraps the item with bubble wrap then packs the box full of ewspapers up to and around the laptop so it cannot move at all then it will be fine, you can even take styrofoam and place on the front and backs of the laptop, I have shipped breakable items before and if you package with care and knowledge you will be fine and it will save money in th elong run, it doesnt matter what you write on any package for the post office, they do not read the packages unless they are stamped at the post office and sometimes then they dont read it, that is why you take the extra careful precautionary measures while packing.

One last word on shipping.. Listia states the seller is responsible for the packaging and shipping of an item.
If the item arrives damaged the buyer can and will ask for a refund of their credits.
For your own protection bubble envelopes are not the way to go .
USPS does have a medium size square priority box that will fit this WITH it's original packing box and other protective stuffing to keep it from rattling. I have been shipping since 1998. Tracking and or insurance is also a good idea.
I know I would pay for it to arrive safely.

Watching, Fanned and I will be bidding later!

The processor type is WMM-A8505, and it has 228384 KB of RAM. Not sure if it's a lot or not. My husband used this for word processing on the road and my daughter used it for email. It has a youtube icon, so I assume you could do youtube on it, but I don't know for sure, haven't tried it.

If you have a wifi signal, you should be able to connect is how I interpret it. I can ask my hubby tonight how he connected to the internet when he was using it.

If I bid on an item that must mean I want it or need it, and not to break it just to get my credits back! I mean lets get real people for the credits we spend on your items, we worked hard to get them saved up and get the things we can not afford to buy other wise. We take your word for what ya say about the item ya have listed. If we did not then Listia would not have been created.

So please when ya sell this make sure it is in a much bigger package then is required, wrap it so tight with lots and lots of bubble wrap, then place it in a box that contains shipping peanuts and pack that tightly, then seal the box, and place FRAGILE ALL OVER THE BOX. Ya also have to recover some kind of material cost so does not matter how much it cost, ship it right the first time and there will be no problems. Please just remember the better ya package an item for shipping the less likely hood it will arrived damaged. After my 2 bad experiences of winning electronics off of listia I can not trust anyone else. It was those to bad apples that ruined it for me with the rest of the truly honest listians.

Shipping this type of item in a medium flat rate box is not the best way to go either. Unless you wrap, wrap wrap and wrap this item in lots and lost of bubble wrap to protect from damage. I am fighting to get my credits back on a laptop I just won like 8 days ago. The lister placed insurance on this package and used nothing more then plastic shopping bags to protect the laptop, placed it in a medium flat rate box that was clearly to small for the item it self. Needless to say it arrived damaged and she more less said that I caused the damage just to get my credits back. We are to assume people are telling the truth about an item they list. Upon further inspection and enlarging of a photo they had listed of the item it clearly did showed the item was damaged before shipping. But they placed insurance on the item so I am waiting for them to do as listia said to do and that is to supply me with their name and address.

Like another item I received damaged they packed that item in nothing more then NEWSPAPER, they accused me of damaging that item too! I agreed to drop the dispute for the return of my credits, cause it was going to cost me over $57. to ship back. I filed the insurance claim and just found out today after 5 weeks of waiting to hear from the postmaster that the lister also filed a claim. That completely voided out my claim because they had the original insurance document from when they sent the item to me. I contacted listia they reopened the case gave me back my credits closed the case and I left even worse feedback then I did the first time.

Thanks for all the shipping advice, I am still fairly new to this process. I would be happy to ship it in a padded envelope or a flat rate box, as long as the buyer understood that the original packaging will not fit into either of them. The Notebook and it's power cord should fit just fine into either though. The other consideration is how well it would travel in a padded evelope vs. a box with padding. I will let the buyer choose how they want it shipped, I am all about saving money that way, however if they want the added protection of shipping in it's original box and padding, then I am ok with that too.

This may fit into a flat rate padded envelope and ship for $4.95. Lower shipping should increase your bids.

I wouldn't know where it was purchased, it was a gift from my brother. It wasn't terrible for us, just a little slow when using the internet. We have cable internet which is fine for our other computers, but this did run a little slower in comparison.
