The listing, Cloisonne Purple Butterfly Beads (4) has ended.

Four 10mm x 15mm purple Cloisonne butterfly beads.

Although Cloisonne is an ancient technique, modern Cloisonne involves soldering or adhering wire to a metal object and filling in the spaces with an enamel paste, then firing the item in a kiln to fuse the enamel to the metal and wire. The result looks much like a stained glass window, with different colors in each of the small compartments formed by the wire.

You might want to include the warning that children should not have these beads. I use them (Cloisonne) a lot, and they have a lead warning from the glaze they use to get the rich colors. They are ok to use as long as they are not put into the mouth. fanned and bid, I love these
