I prefer to be called a Phone Repairman. Lol. Ill even take ESN Repairman. I dont like Phone Hacker, its so....1990. And Flasher makes me sound like I run around naked. However even though I have knowledge in flashing, my knowledge in unlocking is somewhat limited. So yes they are different. And i think anyone can jailbreak, which commonly refers to OS devices typically.

Well technically they dont all mean the same thing. But i guess in a broad sense of the terms they could be used to say the same thing. But if your asking someone to do one of those things, and paying them, they're not the same. Kenny was correct in what he said. Theres a few of us flashers here, so I can see why we have hangups over correct terminology. lol.

Unlock, Flash and Jailbreak mean the samething. YOu do have to unlock it before you can Flash it.

Sorry, but (xoxkisdaangelxox) is correct. In order to flash a phone, you need to know the MSL (master subsidy lock) code and input it in order to reprogram key network-related fields. You do have to unlock before you can flash, although most people just lump it into the term "flash".
