This is a Special Commemorative Issue of Sports Illustrated released on 2/28/01.
The entire magazine is dedicated to Dale Earhardt. It is 80 pages to be exact! This is packed full of photos & facts from his life & is a real tribute to a racing legend. The magazine itself is in *Excellent Condition*. But Please people,I'm auctioning this (*AS IS*) so bid accordingly. I'm not saying it is Mint in any way. But it is in excellent condition for being as old as it is. There is no water damage,sticky pages,creased or folded pages or any signs of wear & tear. This would be an awesome gift for a first time Earnhardt collector or a long time collector! I myself hate to part with it :'( But I'm not a huge NASCAR fan & I'm sure there are a lot of people who would appreciate this a lot more than me = )

awsome mag! my dad is a diehard Earnhardt Sr. fan. He cried on that sad day of daytona racing! He does not have this and would love it! I hope I have enough and can get it for him!! Watching, bidding, and fanned!

Thank You Moegli = ) It really is a cool magazine. I had forgotten I had til I dug it out. Sports Illustrated really did a great job on this. All 80 pages (other than adds) are all dedicated to his story & history in racing : ) I wish I had more than 1 so everybody could get one : ) Hope you win = )
