Unfortunately I do have cats and my landlord is a smoker. These skeins have been packed in a plastic container for about 2 years. I do not smell anything on them.

Thank you for the reply. I make items to sell, so I need them to be smoke and pet free. My daughter's and I make things for ourselves too. If the yarn has no odors, I can use it for ourselves.
