when i purchased this about 20 years ago I was told it was ivory. I met a expert thats collects these kind of poker chips who was interested in buying it....if it were ivory. if you look at it with a lope you can see grow rings that ivory does not have. The chip probably came from a set that was much cheaper than a ivory set.

I dont understand how you know its bone though, did the expert that wanted to buy it tell you it was bone but not ivory?
