I wanted to love this dress so badly! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the dress. There is NO give so don't expect that half an inch difference not to matter. It says size XL but it does fit like a large. Even though it did fit me I found it really difficult to put on because of the button placement - right under my left breast and I couldn't see and had difficulty getting the button to close. The second button was just a bit easier but had a similar problem. Being busty it did gap a little for me and that would be sexy for many but just not my thing. It's all about personal taste and what you are looking for. Again I wear a M-L and it did fit me but I was not comfortable with the things I mentioned. If they bother you too don't bid. If that is what you are looking for then go for it. If you are smaller than a 34DD or 36D this dress will work easier for you than it did for me.
PLEASE measure yourself and judge your size by that - they are:

cap sleeves - collar - VERY long sash belt that can be tied in a kicky bow or wrapped around twice for an eye catching obi style look !

wrap around with inside buttons to secure it

this is 65% cotton 35% poly - I love that blend because you can use a washer and dryer to take the wrinkles out of it - you wash alone on gentle/cold water and dry on gentle dry, take it out as soon as the dryer stops and you have a brand new looking dress !

the sash measures approx. 82 x 4 inches

bust (pit to pit) is approx. 36 inches around

armholes are approx. 15 inches all the way around

waist approx. 30 inches

from waist to bottom of hem on swing skirt approx. 25 inches

from top of neck/collar to waist approx. 14 inches

This is cotton so it will arrive fairly wrinkled! Fantastic color and No flaws!
