The listing, HEALTHCARE WORKERS L@@K: DORLAND'S POCKET MEDICAL DICTIONARY-26th edition has ended.

Dorland's is a must-have for medical transcriptionists and office workers, CNA and nursing students, or anyone one else involved in the medical field. There is a section with colored photos of basic anatomy and another for the combining forms in medical terminology. If it's a word in the medical world....it's in there!

I did use this book at college as well as on the job so there is some light cosmetic damage on the front cover as you can see in the pics. The pages are in great condition as you can see. I hate to part with this book as I'd hoped to be able to return to working again someday, but my back and fusions just haven't improved enough.

Thanks, medical terminology can be very tough to master in the beginning and its everywhere nowadays. Fanned ya-neat stuff! My daughter would love the manga book but I'm still waiting for some credits to post :(

It is red leather (or leather-like?). The dimensions are 7 inches long by 5 in. wide and approx. 1.5 in. thick. It literally resembles a Bible. There are 931 pages of medical terms set up dictionary-style with pronunciation key, plus an additional 16 pages with anatomy illustrations that cover everything from skeletal muscles, bones, digestive tract, respiration, vessels, eyes, ears, to sinuses. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions. My college teacher was a trauma nurse and she highly recommended keeping this on hand.
