This is a Windows 7 HP Laptop. The Specs are :
- 2gb Ram
- 40gb hard drive
- Intel Centrino Mobile 1.73ghz Processor
- built in Wifi
- Windows 7 Home Premium / Office 2007
- DVD-Rom/CDR-W disc drive
- 14"LCD display
- Microsoft Security Essentials free Anti-Virus
- Angry Birds and Classic Arcade Games installed
- Battery holds charge but charger is not included (they are under $7 with shipping on ebay)

This laptop runs fine and has cleaned out and updated(all windows updates, java and adobe). It was an off lease commercial laptop so it's pretty rugged. Good simple laptop and it's compact and easy to carry around. In average used condition but works perfectly. Comes with everything but the charger. You can get that for under $7 shipping and all on ebay. I can make another get it now auction for a charger for 13,000 credits if you win this auction if you really want but I will have to buy another one myself then lol. Feel free to ask any questions. I understand you only have whatever credits you have but I have to buy a new charger either for the 13,000 credits. I can either mail you the new one or send you mine and buy myself a new one. Same either way really lol. I would be happy to send you a link to a good ebay seller and you can get one from there shipping and all for under $7 from a U.S. seller. It doesn't automatically come with the charger unless you choose to have me set you up a GIN auction for a charger. If you don't already have a charger (wall plug) for this laptop it would only have whatever charge was in the battery until you got a charger. I would have just included one but i didn't have an extra one , only the one I use myself. I will give that up or buy a new one for the winner for the 13,000 GIN I stated in the auction description. Hi, babowers1 is correct. Windows 7 is still in play and should be for some time as far as updates etc. Most still prefer it to Windows 8 and Windows 10 is coming soon but it's basically Windows 8 toned down with more Windows 7ish familiar usability.Thanks

If your universal charger came with a few tips, you most likely have one. I have had 3 or 4 universal chargers and they all had the right tip for this laptop. Some you set the voltage manually with a select switch, some are changed by the tip itself. Depends are the brand I guess. Thanks

It is the common smaller plug that has been around for years for HP's/Compaq's. 18.5 volts. As I stated, if you win and you really don't want to order one, I will list the winner a GIN form my charger for 13,000 credits. Hi, HP owns Compaq and it's the same company. Many (mainly commercial models) have HP/Compaq branding on them. It is an HP/Compaq NC6220. It was upgraded sometime in it's life by the company that owned it. It Feel free to Google the HP/Compaq connection. I have that on a couple of desktop PC's written just like that. Hi, I have been asked a few times and there is no date on it. I also had mentioned it has been upgraded to Windows 7 (it previously had Vista business or XP Pro) so any date under my computer will only tell you when the current version of Windows was installed. It is a few years old, best I can tell you. It couldn't be upgraded to 8gb of ram, it's 32bit so it would max at 2gb or 4gb (3gb to 3.5gb max usable) but not 8gb. It is a good little, simple laptop for someone. Not a brand new super fast one. This may not be what you want if you want a new one. I'm listing it for credits, not money and the shipping is free too!Thanks for your interest.

Does HP still support updates via there online service? I have an hp pavilion XP laptop and a desk top, but hp no longer supports win XP. What about WIN 7?

Hi, it's Microsoft updates I think you are meaning. Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP with updates anymore. XP is being "retired" . You can still use it but as things occur online, microsoft will not be there to keep it running smoothly with security updates and fixes via updates. Windows 7 is fine for a good while yet.
