How long is the chain? Are the pendant and chain marked?

the clasped length of the chain is just over 8 inches.Please see my other response about marking. I don't have a magnifyer to really check what they say :/

not a locket. just a lock shape in a heart with a key. I can see the stamps near the bottom of the heart, but not what they say. And I see some type of writing on the clasp part of the chain, but not what it says. not just a couple of letters though.

the stamp on the necklace itself it just a small mark. it is the writing on the chain clasp that is more than a couple of letters.
