I wish I had a better story about it, because it is such a cool, nostalgic piece, but I don't. I got it here on Listia. Many of the watches that I have up over the next week and a half or so have come from Listia or estate sales. No family heirloom connections...apparently my family is not as eccentric as I am. Other than just for the nostalgic value, I began collecting them (WB's) because I am a great fan of Mel Blanc (the voice of these characters). Blanc grew up in Portland and went to high school with my dad.....Lincoln High School, (the original building is now part of Portland State, Lincoln Hall). I decided to concentrate on Disney for some reason. Perhaps it was a mistake, as my granddaughters would have loved the story.... they are big fans of WB and their greatgrandpa.

Yeah, maybe I DID blow it. But I have to live with it. My watches are my granddaughters inheirtance. I just hope they keep making batteries for them.
