It would depend on what you are crocheting and what weight yarn you are using to learn with. The size 8, 1 and 00 would be better with crochet threads where as the size D, F, 3.00mm, 4.00mm and J would be for yarns. Hope this helps. Thank you for asking and fanning. Fanned you back!
