The listing, Sebastian miniatures plate "There Was a Time" series "The Candy Store" orig. box has ended.

A lovely collectible plate from Sebastian miniatures, recreating one of the most popular Sebastian miniature figurines, "The Candy Store". Plate center is painted bonded porcelain and the rim is cast and buffed fine pewter.

Back of rim is stamped "COPR. 1979 P. W. BASTON"

The back has the following engraved into the back of the porcelain:

There was a time when a kindly candy store owner
waited patiently while a little girl made her penny purchase.
A first edition plate in the series "THERE WAS A TIME"
