You can see the three spaces have been filled in red in typed, stating that a seven year old had Scarlet Fever, then below that, another who was five with Scarlet and another 7 year old. A very interesting card!

Duplex cancel is a two-part cancel, one part containing the postmark, and the other part with the cancellation.
There is a NOTICE on the left, desired for epidemiological purposes (Epidemiology is the science that studies the patterns, causes, and effects of health and disease conditions in defined populations.)
