The listing, HP iPAQ Pocket PC has ended.

This HP iPAQ Pocket PC comes with a docking station that plugs into an outlet, a USB cable, a stylus, and a 256mb SD card.

It was given to me to list and I don't know a thing about it. I'm a bit of a technotard lol. It's so it is being sold as is. I will try to charge it up and turn it on and will take pictures of it in operation at a later time.

its going to need a sim card as well its a cigular product which means with out a simcard it wont work past the powerup screen

Do you know if it will take other sim cards like t-mobile or sprint? Idk if Cingular is still even in operation!

i know quite alot about devices like this one the hp iPaq pocket PC by Cingular was in essence the first smart phone the web games and a full qwerty keyboard with a touchscreen and stylus allowed you to sign for items online while still using the phone with the original headset mic that came with it no Bluetooth but at a time when smartphones were starting out this was the innovator.

cingular is now at&t so no they arnt around but any sim will do if its unlocked sim

one opther thing is that if a sim is used it needs to be either cingular or unlocked to work it can be unlocked via a windows 98 computer with the hp unlock help from hp web service

and it can also be unlocked by cricket or any other phone service that unlocks phones for there service to boot past the simlock screen hold power and the vol down button for 5 seconds and go to simlock and set it to off

worked at cricket fro 2months and learned about that feature for smart phones from at&t its an old cingular unlock and go procedure
