Purple is my favorite color too! No these are not high maintenence, I bring my roses in for the winter, adds a little something to the empty display eves in the living room....I just use fish fertilizer (the kind with rosemary oil so it doesnt smell) once a week, and keep them pruned...fanned ya back, thanks!
