These fingerless gloves are awesome! What a great accessory to add to your wardrobe. These mitts keep your hands warm while allowing full use of your fingers. On top of that, they look totally cool with the latest looks.

Color: Choose any color you want!! It doesn't have to be a color pictured here
Style: choose from 3 different trims: Tell me the photo of the style you want- picot, plain, or scalloped.
Photo 1 features a scallop trim
Photo 2 has a picot trim
Photo 6 has plain edges

Size: One-size fits most
measurements, laid flat: approx.10.5 x 4 inches at longest point

I make these fingerless gloves 100% acrylic yarn in an awesome pattern designed by Jaybird Designs.

I can do blocks of color, but not stripes or checkerboard. By that I mean I can do one color at the top and bottom, and the other color in the middle.

I am not sure if there's a multicolored black & gray yarn, but I can check online or at the store.

I haven't thought of a color yet (just in case lol) but was wondering could the "middle" be made with smaller holes, I am not sure how you would say it? I really love these!!

I can alter this pattern so that it has no spaces, yes. There will still be some space between the stitches, though.

If I do that I will be stepping into the realm of the unknown, lol
This glove pattern is smaller at the wrist than it is at the base of the thumb....if I were to make them longer I would have to also account for the size of the arm getting larger as I go, and I'm not confident that I could ad-lib this pattern to that extent. I wouldn't want to take the chance of making you something that looks ridiculous, or fits funny.
If I find another pattern I like I may offer longer gloves in the future, but these are not it, sorry.

Try making them with Caron Simply Soft(if you havent already)....i think it would be soft and warm.....

That is actually mostly what I use! I love how it accents the stitches with it's smooth texture. I also use Red Heart Soft and sometimes Loops & Threads Impeccable, which is warm and sturdy without being too "poofy"

Vanna's Choice is a favorite of mine, too, although it has too much bounce and loftiness for these gloves!

I can make these in any of the colors of yarn I can find at the store. This yarn comes in so many colors; I have been offering these for about 9 months now and no one has chosen a color I couldn't find. Most people choose black. In the past I have also made purple, red, tan, green, sage, yellow, white, lavender, brown, pink, and gray, and I have also used various multicolored yarns.
