They are in like-new condition, gently played with. My daughter doesn't like this set. I think it's because the heads are so much bigger than the bodies, it freaks her out. Since we can't return it, we decided to put it up on listia. They would be separated in baggies and put in a box. Yes, its real free shipping to the usa. They are clean as far as any stains or such, but three of the sticker bandaids are still on the pets from play.
