for the 2nd or 3rd generation.
might fit the 1st.
but definitely not for the 4th because the 4th has a camera.
Same as my other itouch case auctions i have/had
brand new never used.

its pretty nifty
i got this in like a multi-color bulk from online and i only used my red one so i figured i can auction off the rest.

will it scratch the back?

i never had scratches on mine, my itouch is in great condition and i've had it for 2 years now.... but honestly if you were to drop it on cement or a pretty hard drop it won't protect it like a fully covered case would...this one just snaps on.

this is more of a fun case if you like to interchange cases a lot...which is what i usually do..on a scale on 1-10 for protection i would give it a 7 or 7.5
because it also depends if you take care of your itouch overall... if you are a person who tends to drop your itouch a lot, im going to be honest, this is not for you...
