Questions & Comments
I wish I read Spanish :-( They are aesthetically pleasing though. I love how much character is in the script. It's truly a shame that cursive is no longer taught in schools
I can read Spanish pretty well, but the one that's upright is just not close enough to make out ( with the hand writing--maybe if it were type written_ and the others are sideways and upside down!..lol... The hand writing is beautiful on these too, (a lost art) but not easy to read--even when I go sideways and upside down..lol
I baught them at at a safety deposit box auction. The box was sealed I won a box number and they were all inside. They were authenticated as original documents not facsimiles.
Interesting... I did look at them enlarged---I still can't read them...lol --but they are really neat--I wonder if the person who had them in the safety deposit box had some kind of connection to them (family etc..)...I wonder why they never collected them... I know you probably don't know the answer to these questions.. I'm just thinking "out loud" ....
