This is a half pound of luxurious, soft, sleek fiber. It believe it to be an unusual blend of about 60% Bombyx Silk and 40% Australian Merino wool tops. This is so delicious to handle that I hate to let go of it but, even more, I hate to let such a marvelous fiber sit rolled up in a bag, sealed in a dark tub. No, this is waiting for some loving hands to spin a beautiful yarn and give it life and I'm just way too busy at this stage in my life. The color is pretty accurate (maybe a bit more burgundy in natural lighting) in the photo but wasn't taken in the full sunlight that gave me the great perfect, accurate colors that my last round of listings had. If you are looking for an exact color I'll gladly pray for a sunny day to grab another shot when I get the right light and post another pic.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: I've already listed my most recently bought or used fibers and am digging into fibers I haven't looked at in awhile...most of which no longer have original packaging. So I'm making EDUCATED GUESSES on the fiber origin. I broke my scale last night trying to replace the battery (it said "no user serviceable parts...") so I'm also guessing weights by comparing with items of known weight. Both fiber origin and weight should be pretty doggone accurate unless I specify otherwise.
