I've never heard of a law that you have to tattoo a dog. Sounds kinda cruel. I've heard of people tattooing their dogs, but they were all kinda tarded and thought it would be cool, which it was not. Plus keeping it clean would be hard, as dogs like to roll around on the ground. Look, I'm not trying to tell you how to raise your animal, but please don't do this.

Well I have a very odd question for you and someone might take it the wrong way so I will explain so people will not get mad. Here is my ? Can this ink be used on a dog, your in Ohio so I'm sure the dog rules might apply where you live,I have a pit but he's so sweet however that law in Cleveland states I have to have him micro chipped which I did however Cleveland is a bit behind in technology so I have to get him tattood which sucks for him my vet will watch it being done but I need ink for my tattoo guy and wonder if this is safe for him?Sorry it's so long but I don't want anyone saying anything mean on your Auction, and it's not me who wants to brand my dog it's the law here where I live.

I see. Thats pretty bogus. If someone is upset about a brand new item they've purchased, that's their own fault. Maybe they should research the thing to see if it is really what they need before committing to it. Good luck with your auction. If it stays reasonable i'll probably bid.

Ah i see. Well anyhow andrea 3030, any licensed tattoo artist would have his or her own ink. They would never make you find your own. And if they tell you otherwise, I would recommend finding a new artist. If you do go about this, may I recommend L-M-X cream. It is an anesthetic tattoo balm for painless tattoos.

The reason why they make you tattoo your dog here in case if he bites or hurts any other person they can make sure you get charged with having a mean dog,I love my dog and I have had him before the pitbull laws were in effect,I have to have all this insurance on him he's microchiped already and then he has to have a muzzle on at all times, has to have a 9 foot fence no one under 18 can walk or handle him,it really sucks and I know I should just get rid of him but he's been with me sense 6 weeks old and he's now 5,All because a few people make there dogs mean we all have to suffer from it,when they tattoo a dog the do the inside of the ear,it's just like branding your cattle back in the old days I don't know if they still do it,but my dog insurance provider told me it's a good reason and just in case someone else dog bites he and I won't get charged with the crime, here where I live the pitbull is always wrong, and they will get put down even if the person or dog got hurt and arn't sure if your dog did it or not, they still get put down.It really sucks but my Max is like my son so I will do what ever I have to make sure he's safe, although I think tattooing is a bit mean to a dog I never cut his ears or tail but,the city says I have to do this,so I guess I have to.

i know i hate that law there are a few pits that i know who are huge babies lol but someone around here again raised a over protective dog a lil girl went to pet it he alliowed the child even licked all over her, her dad seen it screamed to get away and started toward the lil girl the pit attacked the dad thinking he was trying to hurt the girl and then attacked its owner cause he grabbed the lil girl away they are great dogs just some people take them to extreme with training and things like that

Oh Andrea, I so feel for you. Dog laws that discriminate against certain breeds are pretty much akin to racism in my mind - when will people get a clue and just realize a dog is a dog? Statistically, people are more likely to get bitten by Golden Retrievers. Sorry to hijack your auction slimmer :) I just had to say something!
