The listing, WWII/WW2/Korean War Named M1 American Helmet has ended.

Up for bid is a very nice WW2 American M1 helmet that was re-issued for the Korean War. This helmet is named and complete minus the leather chin strap. The pictures really don't do the helmet justice!!!! Its a great display helmet and is 100% authentic and matching. A great edition to any vintage military collection! No this is not a remake...this is a 100% legit WW2 M1 helmet that was re-issued for the Korean War {1950-1953} This is a salty combat helmet and has that old smell to it also. Thanks for the interest!

Like I stated it was re-issued from WW2 for Korea so yes it would have been painted for the Korean War. Yes there are small scratches like on every old helmet but nothing bad.
