It's made out of alloy so it may turn your finger green. It depends on how your body reacts to the elements in the alloy- the best way to fend off a green finger with any fashion ring, is clear nail polish. A few coats inside of the ring with a good clear polish will keep your finger greenless:) hope that helped

Alloy- the mixture of what elements make up that alloy, was not in the description. If your sis is sick and different metals could cause a bad reaction with her- I'd take a pass on this ring. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for the inquiry
