The DVD release date by Hallmark Entertainment is April 30, 2002.

Its been previously viewed but is in excellent condition..
All original artwork is included..

This is a 2 disc dvd, full screen format, with a run time of 384 minutes ( 6 hrs 34 minutes)

An all star cast headed up by:

Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Danny Glover, Diane Lane, Robert Urich..

This is the highest rated TV miniseries to date, has won 7 Emmy awards and is responsible for two miniseries sequels ("Return to Lonesome Dove" and "Dead Man's Walk") and a TV series.

yes its the TV mini series the first one.think it ran 5 days not sure ...bu its not the tv series that went week to week..
