Unless you can find the words 'Quartz' or 'Japan Movt' it probably winds up.

But that makes me want to ask: Does it wind? If you turn the stem ten or so times, does the second hand start moving?

How about setting the watch? Pull the stem out and see if you can make the hands move.

I find no words on it at all - I do not want to turn the stem in case I do something wrong - I would rather not do anything and list it as is

You won't do any harm by turning the stem ten clicks or so. If it's already broken, it won't turn at all, and that's good information.

I turned it - nothing moves - I do not hear any noise from the watch

How Far did U Wind it? Or, are U saying that it "Would Not" Turn at all? That would Indicate that it was Over Wound at Some Point.

I turned it 5 to 6 times - it probably would have turned more - but I am not going to do it

Does the back open? Might have writing inside there. I once bought a ladies old necklace watch and the glass was broke. It had pretty floral artwork on the back. Didn't work but still cute. I kept it for years and one day opened the back and it was an English watch filled with symbols and such. It was marked 585 & I didn't even know what that meant until I started looking stuff up. I tracked it to a London Watch Maker and it was equivalent of our standard 14kt. Never know but I'd be seeing if the back opened.
