The packaging from the Franklin Mint, as pictured but not included in the auction (I only have one), says 'sterling', but the coin itself is not marked.

Do you know what year the Franklin Mint put these out? Curious if they are silver or just silver-plated and can't find them on their site, but that might be because they don't sell them anymore. Thanks.

I got them along with a lot that contained all the presidents up to Nixon packed in a blister pack, and Johnson separate in a little sleeve as if it had been acquired later. From this I conclude the original minting was 1968-1973.
