This digital scale is designed for weighing small to medium sized packages weighing up to 56 lbs. It can also weigh items as light as envelopes. The convenient flip-up platform allows you to easily weigh over-sized envelopes and roll tubes. It also includes a USPS postal rate chart under the platform so you can easily see how much postage you will need to mail a letter or package. The scale has a large back-lit LCD display making it easy to see the weight in the day or night. It also has five weighing options. The scale can show you the weight in pounds and ounces, only pounds, only ounces, kilograms or grams. You can easily re-calibrate it yourself. Most scales can not be re-calibrated.
