It relaxes me to sit and watch them and it's really cool when one gets used to U they'll fly really close and just kinda hover LOOKIN right at U checkin U out. It's really cool. I also make my own nectar BC I don't trust what that red coloring does to them or their eggs. I hear good and bad so just to be sure I make my own with just sugar and water and I boil it a bit to get rid of any bad stuff in THA water

a friend of mine makes them also. I have seen some pretty cool videos with them feeding from peoples hands. I love you telling me that. I haven't seen any around my home but then again I cant go out too much cause of take care of my sick father and cant leave him alone for very long. when it gets cooler dad can sit outside a whole lot but its just too darn hot. over 100* heat index every day lately. loved you telling me this. so cool.

UR welcome. One thing U could do is hang a feeder right in front of a window, maybe where UR dad could watch them too. It may take up to 2 weeks before U see even one but if U keep fresh sugar water in that feeder they'll start coming. I had 3 my first year then 6 now this year I have 8! I made a video of them all feeding right after a heavy rain. That's when I've noticed they are most active BC im in Texas where I'm sure U know it's hot well we've had a lot of rain this year and right after or in between rain showers I can watch them for a long time
