Mulberry seed for Mulberry trees. I have three seed left from planting my own....willing to let them go on auction at listia...this will be the one and only time...These were hard to find...don't need more saplings...just those I planted.

Perennial
Tree size is Med. 20-30' tall
Pale green blossoms with blackberry looking fruit.
Grows quickly in the right conditions.
Leaves are used in teas, fruit editable and for jams and jellies.
Germination is 14-30 days
Seed life is 2 years.
Soil should be deep, moist and slightly acidic (pH levels around 6.0)
Full sun
Days to harvest ( once mature enough)...3+ years.
Suggestion: start indoors and plant outdoors after all dangers of frost are gone.

This is for a young sapling with no garentees of survival.
A young tree will run you far more from what I have been told with a few exceptions...whom I have found out have only a few avalible...what is the deal with that?
